NHS comes through…

To our surprise, our local NHS hospital contacted Lou yesterday asking what hospital we would like to use for our fertility treatment! We hadn’t chased our original referral since last June, and figured they forgot about us. But I guess we have been approved after all!

It’s brilliant news, but it is based on our original assessment. Now that Lou is pregnant, our eligibility might change – not that our ability to conceive naturally has changed. We loved our private clinic but would consider using NHS for the next one. So we plan to follow up with this referral, and get in the queue. Maybe by the time we are ready for #2 we will be able to use it.

We are 7 weeks tomorrow – our baby is the size of a blueberry!

Roll on the scan next week!
